During the summer months, Rozeboom employee Dennis Riphagen is to be found in the Rozeboom kitchen producing more than 150 different flavours of traditional ice cream. All ice cream varieties are produced with only the best and purest products, without adding any artificial odorants, colourings or flavourings. According to an extremely specialised process, fresh fruits are turned into a very flavoursome and rich paste, in turn used in our delicious fruit ice creams.

This fruit sauce is also sold in our mobile ice cream parlour, and together with a choice of scoops of fruit ice cream is the ultimate taste sensation. Since 1960, Jan Rozeboom has been selling his products from the small village of Gortel. The surrounding woodland, heathland and the numerous cycle and walking routes make this an excellent recreation centre. Following all your efforts, eating an ice cream at Jan Rozeboom's ice cream parlour is the perfect end to a day. During the summer months, Jan Rozeboom can be found every day at his site in Gortel, with his mobile ice cream parlour. You can choose from 23 different flavours of traditional ice cream, accompanied by a delicious fruit sauce, and whipped cream; whatever takes your fancy. The ice cream season starts in mid-March and ends in mid-October. So pay us a visit.

The ice cream from Rozeboom's IJsspecialiteiten is produced using high-quality butter, specially imported from the Channel Island of Guernsey. Because the cows on Guernsey spend all their life outside in the island's mild climate, brought about by the Gulf Stream, these cows produce very special milk. This milk, which is eventually turned into the creamiest of butter, has a warm, full flavour, and as it were tingles on the tongue. As you will undoubtedly understand, this is the ideal product for turning into very special ice cream.
